IECL Annual Membership Terms & Conditions
1. Membership Agreement
By applying for and maintaining membership with IECL (“the Organisation”), the member agrees to these Terms & Conditions and any policies, rules, or procedures adopted by IECL from time to time.
2. Membership Fee
Membership is subject to an annual membership fee (“Membership Fee”), payable in advance on a yearly basis.
The Membership Fee:
- Is billed annually on the anniversary of the member’s commencement date, or on another date specified by IECL.
- Must be paid in full by the due date stated on the invoice.
- Is non-refundable except where required by law or at the sole discretion of IECL.
3. Automatic Annual Renewal
Membership will automatically renew each year unless the member opts out in accordance with Clause 4.
Upon renewal, the applicable Membership Fee for the upcoming membership period will be charged and become payable.
IECL reserves the right to amend membership fees from time to time and will provide reasonable notice of any fee changes prior to renewal.
4. Opt-Out and Cancellation
Members may choose not to renew their membership by providing written notice via email to IECL.
To avoid renewal for the next membership period, the opt-out notice must be received no later than thirty (30) days before the renewal date.

Upon receipt of a valid opt-out request, membership will expire at the end of the current paid membership period and will not be renewed.
No refunds or partial refunds will be provided for unused portions of the membership term unless required by law.
5. Membership Benefits
Membership benefits are available only while membership remains active and fees are paid in full.
IECL may modify, suspend, or discontinue membership benefits from time to time without creating an entitlement to a refund.
6. Non-Payment
If the Membership Fee is not paid by the due date, IECL may:
- Suspend membership benefits;
- Restrict access to member services and resources;
- Terminate membership after reasonable notice.
7. Termination by IECL
IECL reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership where a member:
- Breaches these Terms & Conditions;
- Acts in a manner that may harm IECL, its members, reputation, or operations;
- Fails to comply with any applicable policies or codes of conduct.
Termination under this clause does not entitle the member to a refund unless required by law.
8. Privacy
IECL will collect, use, and store personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable privacy legislation.
9. Changes to Terms
IECL may amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will be published by IECL and will apply from the date specified in the notice.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia and the applicable laws of the State or Territory in which IECL operates.
By paying the Membership Fee or renewing membership, the member acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
